Thanks for visiting!
This is my 87 Scottsdale 305 with a TH700R4 transmission. Its a two wheel drive 3/4 ton model with original paint and trim. Silverados rule!

Washed and waxed and ready to cruise.

Specs:
- 305 Small block 5.0L 170hp (light use and regular oil changes)                                                                     - Stock Throttle Boddy Fuel Injection via 220TBI, gets 16mpg  - (Not bad for a 20+ year old v8 ) -
- Automatic Transmission TH700R4
- Full bed (Fleetside)
- Cruise/AC
- Dual tanks
- Pioneer DEH-P740MP MP3 head unit
other,Bench seats, original chrome rims etc.

My modest future plans:
- Maintenance
- Edelbrock TES Headders, Hi-Flow cat and Flowmaster 40 series
- Flow tested injectors and a blueprinted throttle body
- Possibly a TBI spacer (they seem all hype tho…)

Then possibly
- Vortec heads, they would work nicely with the above mods and should increase fuel economy and horsepower without adding much expense.
- Custom chip for the heads (unnecessary but could add horsepower).

- Posi differential

Lastly ...
- Repaint the original paint job
- Fresh dash?
- Hit the shows!

They can take a lot of abuse and are very capable trucks...check out explorer4x4.com. for 189.00 bucks you can get a body lift and fit 32's or 33's and you will notice a huge difference. also the auto 4x4 setting is great in the snow. you can hardly tell your driving in it.

Thanks for the advice on my Crown Vic. I'm actually a Chevy guy, but the deal I got on my Vic made it hard to pass up. I actually used to have a Caprice Classic. It was a good car. It's life ended after taking first place in a demolition derby (it was a $200 beater) I'd liove to get another one. Also looking for an older Chevy pickup like yours, but it's hard to find a deal on a solid one in Wisconsin.
