In May of 2004 I finally got around to putting somewhat of a stereo in.
So far it consists of an Alpine CDA-7897 headunit, 3 10" Rockford Fosgate P2 subs, and a Rockford Fosgate 1000.1bd Amp.

the thunk is usually caused from slop in the IRS due to crappy bushings and basically a crappy design. with some better bushings and a few tweaks to the IRS, it MIGHT go away, but the solution usually lies in a solid axle swap.

switchin through gears, I too have to deal with the "thunk" noise. what do you mean by IRS? Cuz i'd like to soon get that taken care of too.
