The next thing ordered up after installing the solid-axle, was a set of X2C Motorsports, Upper & Lower Control Arms. The difference after putting these in was defintiley noticeable.

About the same time as the control arms went in, I decided to do-away with the Replica Saleen wheels, in favor of some 2003 Machined Finish Cobra Wheels.

They are 17x9 in the front, and 17x10.5 in the rear. The tires are 255/40 in the front and 315/30 in the rear.

the thunk is usually caused from slop in the IRS due to crappy bushings and basically a crappy design. with some better bushings and a few tweaks to the IRS, it MIGHT go away, but the solution usually lies in a solid axle swap.
