I wanted the car to look different from most other Protege's. I had to do something out of the ordinary, or at least try to be one of the 1st to have something that most others really wouldn't contemplate.
I got my hands on a set of Jspec rear lights from out in the phillippines. I managed to get a center panel for the 97 and 98 Protege's and I had my Jspec tails.

Later I got my hands on a mazdaspeed rear trunk badge, which is not that easy to get. I got this item through Corksport, who we all love..
Next item on the list was the Jspec front bumper with spoiler. I managed to order this item from Corksport and then took it to get painted and installed it. The new look was sick.. just sweet and it gave the car a much more aggresive look which I wanted the car to have.
