'99 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28
Tishan10, worked really hard to vote me down, for the simple fact I had added a message to someones message board. And, he had a problem with that person for reasons that had nothing to do with me. I left his posts up for the world to marvel at, but figure I'll leave well enough alone. It would be nice to see car/sound domain do something about the flawed voting system. IP blocking, or even only signed on users can vote (or both) would go a long way towards solving the problem. I'm removing Tishan10's posts, since the root of the problem didn't have anything to do with me in the first place! Oh yeah, I finally took some new pics. In the works: Shave handles and locks, replace with poppers. And, I'm toying with the idea of center exhaust with a rear valance, before it goes to paint (sometime in the next year).

My '01 Tahoe (on 20's) New pics.
My '00 F-150... she just grew about 8 inches!
Pictures of my recent boat install. (I know it's not a car, but it runs on 12 volts, doesn't it?)
I took these at the end of the street. Just moved, and yes I do live amoungst corn fields. The tracks are mine, but they are kind of old. Had to show off for some younger guys one night. That's going to cost me, but it was worth it! Didn't have the heart to delete the old pics yet, so I just moved them down.

Mods:
Induction: Whisper Lid, K&N, Borla Cat-back exhaust, without blocker plate.
Suspension: 18" Chrome C5 replica wheels, with 275/35ZR18 Bridgestone Potenza S-03's. Eibach 1 1/2" drop springs, with Bilstein race specs. Hotchkis strut tower brace, larger front and rear sway bars, and trailing arms. SLP sub-frame connectors. Tbyrne Motorsports adjustable panhard rod, and Random Technology control arm relocation kit.
Note: The wheels are a very tight fit. The offset makes it harder to shop for F-body rims. They fit just fine, but I needed the 5 pound hammer treatment, to the inside of my rear left wheel well, to avoid tire scrubbing on really hard corners. But, she handles so nice now! Thinking of trying out a G-timer, to get an idea of the new cornering prowess. It would be cool to put a number on it. If anyone has tried one of these, please let me know what you thought of the product.

Head unit: Kenwood KDC-X815 with flip face. (I thought it was kind of James Bond, when I got it. It's a little dated now, in ooh ahh, but the Excelon's specs are still very good.)
Amps: Alpine MRV-540 [86.4w x 4 @ 14.4v] (I just added this, and have posted pictures on page 6. Same location, only a lot bigger), Xtant X1001 (Subs 1000w @ 1 ohm)
Speakers: Boston Acoustics Z6 (6.5 inch front components in Q-logic kick panels), Infinity Perfect 6.1 (6.5 inch rear components)
Subs: 2 - Infinity Kappa Perfect12d VQ (dual 4 ohm voice coils on each, run in parallel to a 1 ohm load)
Power: 0/1 gauge Monster, run through a 100 amp Monster circuit breaker. 3-way 0/1 to 4 gauge distribution block. 2 - one farad caps.
Cables: Monster RCA's (3), and 16 guage heavy shield Radio Shack speaker cable. (I gobbled up a lot of it, since I mounted all my crossovers in the very rear of the car, and have no complaints about the quality of the wire.)
Future mods: I don't usually think it's worth mentioning, what I WANT to do to the car. The list is a long one, but one worth mentioning is that awful grill. That thing will be going soon, for something that doesn't look like an after-thought.
