And a picture of her in the former "race" form for autocrosses and roadrace competition.

A steady progression to making her look even better.

Tires and Wheels: I think many people underestimate the tire for what it is; the ultimate determining factor of how well your car grips the pavement, and how fast you can go. Money spent on good tires is money well spent over ANY other modification. For Street tires have had quite a few sets. Currently I have Kumho Ecsta MX's on a set of OEM wheels and Yokohama AVS intermediates on my nice Zenetti Valeo's. The wheels are direct fit, 17lbs (Each wheel is 6lbs lighter than stock), 17X8 e20. The tires are 245-40-17. For autocross I have Kumho Victoracer V700.

Audio:I installed a Pioneer DEH-P7200 head unit with Polk Audio EX3 6.5" speakers and a Rockford Fosgate 10" sub in a 1.2 cu.ft. sealed box I made. The Subwoofers amplifier is a Clear 120W JBL, and is more than enough power for the single 10" in a hatchback. I covered all of the enclosures with DynaMat and removed the stock front speaker grilles which blocked a lot of sound. I installed my electronic boost controller in the ash tray, which is a perfect spot for it as it is easily accessable.

I made a false floor/cargo cover for the hatch area out of MDF. It provides a bandpass effect for the subwoofer and as a bonus it covers the sub, amp and nitrous bottle.

Interior: The interior will remain mostly stock because I think it Looks good. I did replace the center console cover because it was worn out. I've also added a MOMO steering wheel, which is quite comfortable and easy to grip when taking corners hard.

Shmokay! Awesome, I'm slowly getting my Z ready for some racing. You should check it out sometime. I like the enclosure you made in the back too!
