Progress on the Trans Am
2004, the year of preparation
Here I was cleaning up the bulk of the underbody coating and grease out of the engine compartment.


Taken apart the interior for a guage swap, tranny swap, and cage install. Also had some water damage from leaky T-Tops.

Some pictures from me putting the heater box back into the car and setting up the a/c lines.

2005, the year of building

Just a bunch of random parts chilling out.
Just getting the block home from the machine shop were it was, tanked, magnafluxed, bored, rings fitted, pistons fitted, honed, short block assabled, cam bearings, balanced, etc...

400 Steel Crank, 6 inch Forged Eagle Connecting Rods.

Keith Block Silv-o-lite .150 Dome pistons with 76cc head for 11.2-11.7ish compression

7quart oil pan kit with hi pressure/volume oil pump

Weak stock rear LCA next to the new and stronger BMR LCA. Also a little shot of how the car currently sits (3/6/05)

BMR rear LCA & BMR adjustable panhard bar installed

Spohn LCA Relocation brackets. Lowers the pitch of the LCA 2 or 3 inchs. Improves 60 foot time by .10 and is also a must for lowered cars.

Holley Double Pumper 850cfm carb.
Edelbrock Victor Jr Intake.
Manual Conversion

For now it's gonna be a nearly new T-5, by this summer I should have a T-56 in there.
