2002 3.8L V6 MUSTANG

BLazE_463's 2002 Ford MustangBLazE_463's 2002 Ford Mustang

My first car, where to start? My 02 zinc yellow stang originally belonged to my sister. She drove it for around 2 or 3 years. I can remember riding around in it with the top down thinking about how cool I must've looked haha. One day, she randomly decided she wanted a new car. She was so set on a Pontiac G6. I have no idea why. So, this baby just sat in our garage for a few months or a year. I can't really remember. My parents told me I could have it, but I hated the idea. I used to think having a yellow car would make me look like a fag, but whatever. As time went on, my interest grew in driving this car. My friend, Jayce, and I talked about it on occasion. We both thought yellow cars were for girls. He ended up getting a yellow S10, go figure. My girlfriend and her mom always told me I should drive it. They would nag me about it nonstop. As more time elapsed, I started asking my dad if I could drive it around. The first time I got behind the wheel of this car (besides the few times driving it home from the shop, which is right down the street from my house), it grew on me right then and there. The first time I stomped on the pedal and felt that acceleration, I fell in love. This car is fast. I don't care what anyone tries telling me. On paper, yeah, they are slow as hell. But I've driven many cars before, and this is by far the fastest. People will talk about racing me and how they think it will be close. I tell them straight up that I will smoke their ass, and it ALWAYS HAPPENS. I've never lost a race in this car. I've raced cars that range from a soccer mom van, to just about any V8 truck. Almost everyday coming home from work over the summer, my fellow employees and I would race on I-95 and Pulaski Highway. I've never lost :P

So I've got a few mods done to my car. I plan on doing a TON. So here is what I currently have done, and what I plan on doing.

BBK Cold Air Intake

BLazE_463's 2002 Ford Mustang

Usually everyones first mod. I decided to take this route as well. This thing pissed me off so much when I first installed it. The directions blew and I had never done this before. I was at it for a good 5 or 6 HOURS. It was worth it though, I'd say. It gave my car a deeper, more aggressive sound. And SLIGHTLY improved my acceleration.

True Dual Exhaust System

I was getting tired of how quiet my car was, so I put this bad boy underneath it. This is a true dual H-pipe, 2.25" piping setup with dual Magnaflow's. This + my intake made my car 3 or 4 times louder than stock. The Magnaflow's give it a great tone, and a sound that is loud, but not TOO loud. There is still a desire to go louder, however, but hopefully I will get that perfect sound I'm looking for when future mods come into play.

Unfortunately, that's all I've done performance wise. Everything else is all show.

White 'MUSTANG' Windshield Banner

I think it adds some sex appeal, personally. A lot of people like it, few do not. Whatever.

Black Vinyl Bumper Inserts

BLazE_463's 2002 Ford Mustang

Everyone NEEDS to have bumper inserts on they're Mustang. No exceptions. They are hot, and look damn good. I plan on upgrading to black stainless steel inserts some time in the near future.

Mach1 Chin Spoiler

BLazE_463's 2002 Ford Mustang

In my opinion, the 2nd most important appearance mod that EVERY Mustang owner needs to do. It looks great on my car, and everyone else's that I've seen. You can't go wrong with a chin spoiler.

8" Black Shorty Antenna

BLazE_463's 2002 Ford Mustang

I don't have a close up pic of this one, but you can see it here, along with what the current product looks like. Stock antenna are enormous and ugly. The 8" and 14" antenna are the way to go ;)

 Under Drive Pulley

 BBK 65mm Throttle Body

 Chrome Exhaust Tips

SCT Livewire Tuner

Black Dual Angel Eye Halo Headlights

Smoked Fog Lights

Black LED Taillights

Saleen Bodykit

BLazE_463's 2002 Ford Mustang <<~ I'll be looking similar to this sexy beast ;)

That's really all there is to know about my car. It has some serious potential, all it needs is a little help from me and my wallet.

Btw, your Mustang isn't a GT, so why make it something it's not?
