Fman007's 1994 Mitsubishi GTOThis is my BABY!! I've had her for about 2 years. Bought her off a guy 20 minutes from Manchester with some suspect mileage. Loved her....but found out there was some problems coming. :( First one being the Exhaust....one Mongoose Catback installed. Should have never done that. lol Opened up the game! Next came the intake, then the 3SX lightweight pulley, engine dress up kit. Engine bay painting, parts replacement, trying to squeeze any HP without pulling the engine.Fman007's 1994 Mitsubishi GTO Got cutom made Leather seats and installed/uphoalstered them myself. 2 nights...couldn't make a fist for 2 days! But the compliments drove me! :DFman007's 1994 Mitsubishi GTO

All this was fun...but it was going to get expensive. Had to chill...had a family, couldn't get into debt for a few extra horses. So I dabbled on a few projects such as gauges and delimiter, SAMCO radiator hoses...nothing costing too much. Then I came across mention of a Supercharger for my car. After finding his website and researching a bit. I was sold! *schreeeech* $4000.00!! No Sale!  It wasn't til 3 months later I was reading(more like Dreaming) the fine print and it was saying Military discount. And he had a payment plan. *CHA-CHING* Dropped a down payment...and was on my way. While installing my Painted(coated) Plenum, lost a nut down the manifold. Didn't know...Started the car and it sucked it in....DANG! Had to pull the engine and get the a new piston. Might as well get 6 new pistons. :)  All happened while trying to make payments on the Supercharger. I love my wife for swallowing the pill and letting me keep going for it. Too much money later...my car was back.

Had the Supercharger lying on my living room floor for about a year now. And now it's Currently, (13 Oct 09) lying on the garage floor of the mechanics(M&S MOTORSPORTS, near London....they specialize in GTOs/3000gts)...about to be installed. I've been imagining this moment for awhile...so I'm pretty nervous. We're talking 2 weeks and I've got myself a Supercharged GTO/3000gt. I can probably count on my hands the number of them out there. :) I've even got the uprated parts for higher boost. So I'm dying right now to get her back. More to come..........

This is an example of the charger/turbo.

Updates and Pics (15 Oct 09)

My larger radiator won't fit. The brackets won't line up with the cars original placing...and there's other issues.Fman007s 1994 Mitsubishi GTO

Qouted 350 pounds(roughly $525) for a custom one. So they're now going to try and customize the "larger" radiator to fit. Fun times. Also waiting on my injectors to come from the states. Here's some pictures so far.

 Updates (16 Oct 09)

Well....they've got my FMU, my fuel Pump Hotwire kit, the intake location relocated and my Engine oil cooler attached and running.  More info....I've got clear turning signals coming and a HID kit also soon to be installed. :D  Also....they, M&S MOTORSPORT, are impressed with the speed of charger......at idle!! :)

Ok...UPDATE (24 Oct 09)

Still waiting on getting my radiator working....could be a little bit. But, hopefully that all comes together by the end of the week. Also...waiting on my inectors to arrive. Guages are in...along with my pillar pod. Fuel Pump and Hotwire are also installed. Pipework welding is complete. To be honest....just waiting on the radiator and payday to pay M&S Motorsports off. :D  Here's some pics of the gauges.

Update Time!! (5 Nov 09)

Fuel injectors arrived for my car about 6 days ago. :D  They're still waiting on my (new) Wire Loom to arrive for my Fuel Controller. (Friday or Monday)

In fact...my car's pretty much put together except the injectors and now the supercharger. The reason being...there was a.....errr....hang up. :(  The compressor wheel bounced around (which shouldn't happen) and..well...broke.Fman007s 1994 Mitsubishi GTO Sent off for a new one. The old compressor wheel was 5 inches diameter. The new one is 6 1/4.

We're talking more Boost. Not that its needed. But it's capable. :)  A little machining on the Turbo housing, and we're in business. (Another $300 down)

*sigh* Uhmmm...My radiators in...HIDs are in. Now just waiting. Could be a few weeks.
