Here is the Kia Soul picking it up from Kia Corporate in CA. This one is a SEMA build for them. Picked it from Kia with a total of 6 weeks to build this car. This will be a fun vehicle to build. Since the Kia is not a huge car in the US yet.
After talking with different manufactures on some parts for the Soul. It seems like alot of the parts for this car are going to have to be hand made. Starting off with the grill for the Soul. No one made a upper and lower matching grill. So we went and bought the material that we wanted the grill made out of and started making some templates. Finished the templates and moved on to making them out of the metal mesh material.
While we where making the grilles for the Soul, we decided now was a good time to send the headlights and taillights off to get spray tinted. This is something we could have done in house, but since it is a time issue, we figured we could have used our time better off on finishing up some other things. Thank you to Tizzys Squirt Shop for the great job on smoking the lights. Came out just like we had hoped.
