Not much to say yet - the beloved Olive threw it's transmission, and I decided it was time to pass the torch. Thankfully, she went to a good home. The brother of a Volvospeed buddy had been looking for a Volvo, and since his Bro was a Service Manager for the local Volvo Dealer, and his best friend was a mechanic there, I know she is in good hands.
Me - I am a few years older than they are, my kids are grown, and I live at the beach. It was time to by the roadster I had been lusting after for some time. I don't care for the tan interiors on the C70's or the light grey, so I narrowed it down to a 'three times black' 1999. It needs a little detailing, but the interior was in excellent shape, especially the Driver's Seat (which is usually quite worn!) so I did the deal. It's also a LPT - which has the small Turbo (13G), but the larger engine (2.4 vs. 2.3). The prevailing wisdom is that if you chip it, and upgrade the turbo to a 16G, you have the best of all worlds. We shall see...
