SCU 1.7L AutoRotor (SOLD!)An Opcon-Autorotor is easily the one of the most sought after modifictations for any Supercoupe owner. The Autorotor is nothing more than a twin-screw supercharger. SuperCoupes Unlimited designed their kits to replace the stock Eaton M90 (Or essentially, any modified version you may have.) It has been quoted that you must either "give up a left kidney or a new born to get your hands on one. And that only works when all of the planets are aligned."Well, I've done just that. The disadvantages to using the Eaton blower is that it causes massive amounts of heat, which is why many have nicknamed the company Heaton. The blower is great for OE applications, but when you're looking to overdrive it by 15-25%, is loses all efficiency. Porting only does so much, and you end up with a very expensive, very hot blower. Many Terminator owners, looking to improve the performance of their DOHC 4.6L's, have swapped their Eaton M112's for twin-screw's.What you are seeing in picture one/two is the modified intake manifold, modified fuel rail, and inlet. Picture three is just a box with the extra pulley, belts, bypass tube and snout brace. The fourth picture shows the actual AR, with it's custom made inlet plenum. The catch can will soon be eliminated as I will be sending it off to PSE Superchargers to have the snout re-drilled to self-vent (much like the new Kenne Bell's).The fuel rail as it sits now, is not finished. I purchased an Aeromotive adjustable FPR, and plan on replacing all the hoses with AN lines.I'm still trying to determine what I want the paint scheme to be. I may leave it as it is, since the black look just looks menacing. However, some minor things will be changed. I will probably have the snout brace powdercoated as a polished look would be far too difficult to keep clean in that position.Any ideas?
