My new daily driver.

I've been driving by this blazer for almost a year wonder how much they wanted for it, I finally stop the other night, but no one was there. It did have a price on the window and also said it need trans work. after seeing the price and that it needed work i lose interest in it, well, after searching ebay looking at other blazers, tahoes, yukons and seeing what the were going for. I decided to go back and take it for a test drive and ask how much he wanted for it. The price was about $200 more then they were going for on ebay, but after figuring in the add on's (wheels, push bar, tail light covers, upgraded stereo) i thought the price was right. The body only has a few surface rust spot on the roof, and the rest of the body is rust free, even the bottom of the body is rust free. It need the grill bolted back on and the head light & push bar put back on & also an new hood. 1st gear is real weak 2nd gear is shot, 3rd, 4th, & reverse there are no problems figured i'll have it rebuild.

I picked up a new hood for $25, headlight assembly for $20, and a few misc parts today. I'm still looking for a grill and i think i'm going to replace the core support because it is a little bent on the left side making the front end not line up.

I got a new core support for $25 today at the junk yard, the body mount bolt were a major pain in the ass to get out. picking up a new grill tomorrow.

Pulled the old core support out today, going to put the new one in tomorrow after i power wash the ten pounds of mud out of the radiator.

It doesn't look to bad but it's bent enough to throw the whole front end off a few inches.

Almost back together. found a new bumper at the pull-A-parts place, it will lock better after i remove the paint on the bumper. I guess no one told the person if you are going to paint a chrome bumper you have to sand it first or at least scuff it so the paint will stick.

I spent 2 hours getting the paint off the chrome, then decided to mount the push bar/grill guard, i'm undiceded if i'm going to paint the push bar or polish it. next will be to find a chrome grill to replace the busted one and then find a replacement fender flare then the truck will be ready to be painted.

The new grill i ordered came today. it looks a lot better then the one that was on there, i also installed the billet inserts, & started polishing the push bar.
