So the Suzuki is gone...The Ranchero is gone...and with a 2 year old girl in mind when I went looking for my next project I had to get something with a back seat for her.
But I've always marched to the beat of my own drum and I wouldn't be happy with the same old Camaro or Mustang that you see a dozen of at every cruise night. No I needed something different, something with a true Musclecar heritage. And just then Faith waved its earie little hand once again. One late night, while trolling over the local Kijiji adds, I found a local guy selling a 1970 AMC Javelin.
I went to look at the car and being a welder by trade the guy had already replaced the floors and rot in trunk, quarters and fenders. Unfortunately he REALLY didn't know what he had as he was a Chevelle fan and tried to drop a Chevy 350 and 350 trans in it.
Here is a nice example of a 1970 Javelin from Car Craft Magazine.
And this is what I came Home with
Don't Worry it's not as bad as it looks!!
