bottom of the drivers side door was COMPLETELY rusted out.. gone.. not even attached to anything..

ssssssssssssssssooooooooo.....    we did wat we do..  made a patch..   cant even tell there was a problem aye..

an i bondoed the patch on the c panel..  didnt sand it yet though...thas wat it WAS.... a rust hole.. then i patched an bondoed..

 

finished all the body work on the front half so we started priming today..

 well today we started fixin them..

 heres the patch.. theres 2 bumps on the rite side.. so we had to cut holes to go around them..

  we flanged the edges an put it INSIDE the hole..  an tacked it on to start with..

 more welding..  sorry i forgot to take the after pictures.. but we didnt do any body filler/bondo yet.. so wednesday ill take flix after bondo an sanding.. 

 aaaannnnd there was MORE rust..    /:       seems like theres no end..

 more of the drivers door.. the wwwhhhooole way down.. were gonna jus get a HUGE strip of metal.. an chop off the whole bottom of the door.. then weld the new one on an wrap it around..

 bottom of passenger door..  not as bad as the driver door but still....

another of the passenger door..  kinda hard to see but if u know wat u lookin for u can see it..  i grinded it all down so theres no rust.. jus all the HOLES that the rust ATE!!!!........       :(

 there it is again..  hopefully well have time to finish it all this semester!!  only 8 classes left..            /:

 grindin all the welds away..  so she can be flat like it was never there..

  we fukt up an welded too fast so the whole door around the weld got distorted so we had to fix it, were pullin it bak out..

 body filler..   u can barely tell it was even a hole there!!....    :)

self etch primer so she dont rust bak up between now an next week..   (no more skool this week  due to thanksgiving)    /:

 fixin this huge ass dent lookt like sumone kicked it..  that WWWHOOLE silver area was stuck IN about 3-4 inches..  they didnt even TRY to repair it..

 got MOST of it out.. so we added sum body filler cuz the metal wasnt COMPLETELY smooth.. but she gon be aight..

 and we found MORE rust holes..  were gonna have to weld..   :(

theres a huge gap after we folded it, so were gonna get a lil backingplate.. so we can fill the gap up with weld..     but we ran outta time so were gonna finish on monday.. but u see.. its clean.. no rust.. and only small gap to weld..

 this is the patch b4 we bend the edges bak like a door skin to clip it on.. then well weld the bottom and rite side on..

did more body work today..   there were sssooooo many dents on the doors..  we did the whole left side of the car, but theres a spot we need to weld a new piece of metal in.. ull see the pictures.

   now THIS is sum BULLSHYTT!!!!..... theres a strate hole in that shytt..    sumone filled it with rubberthen put bondo over it and painted it.. wtf.. it flexes like rubber..   but were gonna weld a piece in tomorrow in class...

 

 rear window sill strate rusted out.. then sumone put sum metal screen in it an bondo over it then strate paint.. wtf....  U MUST FIX RUST!!!.....  u cant paitn over rust.. it will jus make it worse!!!........

  i have NNNOOO idea wat that shytt is in the corner.. its painted like all the other fukt up shytt that got painted over on this car.. lol.. but it FEELS like rubber!!.....     /:   emblems were painted over..  metal, mirrors.. side skirts.. but watevers.. ima fix EVERYTHING..

body work done on left side and trunk.... self etching primer so the bare metal dont rust..  jus till we finish  the rite side, the hood, the plane panels, and the welding..  were gonna prime her up next wednesday..   :)   woulda did it today, but we were SUPPOSE to do all the body work on monday but couldnt cuz i caught a flat monday morning an had to take the deville to skool on monday..   /:

aaaalllll of ANYTHING that u see thas gray was eiher a dent or rust that we had to sand down to bare metal and sandblast then bondo then sand till smooth..   so as u can see, the left side is done an ready for primer..

as u can see i took off the chrome trim in the wheel wells.. im gonna take them off and LEAVE them off.  jus cuz ALL eldorados have them.. ima try to take AAALLL the chrome trim off and sand an clean it up an paint it like that.. make it look more sleek an a lil LESS like everyone elses lacs...    only chrome i want is on the shoes, and inside..

 

well thats it for now, chek bak tomorrow after i weld!!.....

 

 

 oh and this is wat gave me the motive to take off all the chrome..  see how damn bent up an CROOKED this chrome was installed??   thats around the driver window.. looks like COMPLETE SHYTT..   so i figured ima take it off.. then once i seen the wheel wells without the chrome i was like aaaaayyyyee.... ima take it AAALL off an LEAVE IT OFF..   :P

she in the shop RE-fixin the AC.. lol idk wat happend but she stopped workin(even though they jus rebuilt it)..  and they fixed the blinkers.. pickin her BACK up TODAY..

 

 

been workin on body work but ac stopped workin, but i JUS spent $1,000 rebuilding it.  so she bak in the shop but they fixin it for free..    so far ive put out 3800 on this car.. and still FAAAARRR from done..    that was only on rebuilding the brakes, alternator, catalytic converter,  and the AC..   keep chekin.. ima prime her next wednesday as long as the paint booth gets fixed by then..   :D

 

jus gettin started on the body work..   whoever did this body work on this car was trippin// bondo over the rust..   sanded the bondo with sum COARSE ASS sandpaper, an painted strate over it... and sssssoooooooooo much rust spots were jus STRATE painted over..   fukt up..   in the qtr panel was a HUGE DENT covered up with bondo, i sanded down an removed dent.took me about 5 minutes..

 

 im glad i found her so i can rescue..

look at all that rust..  and the door jams under the hood and trunk and aaaaalllllll over the car, but all small stuff that coulda been saved, stopped, or removed very easily.. wtf..   fuk it we gon sand down an fix all the body work this semester, and prep it, then im takin paint finishes next sem so she will be good in a minute..

this side wasnt soo bad, but ALOT of little dings an dents.. like maybe 15-20 of em..     /:

 roof was fukt too..   i forgot to take pics of HOW fukt.. but bondo an the ass sanded for like 2 seconds then painted it.. hahah u could CLEARLY see the bondo through the paint..

so the eldo is in the shop gettin shytt fixed..   im gettin brakes bled, new calipers, air pump belt, ac fixed, oil leak fixed, new master cylinder, exhaust leak, vacuum leak, and watevers wrong to make the check engine light come on, when i get her bak she suppose to be passed on emissions, and ready to register so i can put sum shoes on an hit the streets.    stay posted, shytts bout to get crackin!!.....

 

 

 

so i bent the front right sides suspension on my deville so now the strut was restin bak ontop of the tire..   sssoooooo i got sum 1-1/2" wheel spacers so theyd stick out and not BE under the strut..    it workd.. but now they rub on the fenders when i turn, we cut the SHYTT out of the fenders front and bak of the wheels..  still rubs, and its rubbin on METAL...  ssssoooooooooooo   i had no choice but to SELL them an go bak to stock.....       :(       :(       :(

 they comin off..   most depressing shytt ever...  they said its gonna cost about $600 to fix that suspension professionally..   :(     :(
