I bought the car at an auto auction for 7k with 115k on the clock. timing chain was done and a week later BOOM. bye bye 2.slow.

so from there we desided to do a lil upgrade. I found a 2007 sti motor for 3k w/17k on ebay which didnt come with the turbo or the topmount (which i already had). I was kinda happy it didnt come with the 2007 sti turbo, even though its  a lil bigger it has overboost issues. so i found a close to new vf39 and slapped it on there.

heres where i made my biggest mistake. ive been taking all my cars to a mecanic that my father has been going to for many years and he desided to take on the project saying that he had done one before in a 2.5rs in bolivia. the actual engine drop was fine it was the wiring that got messed up and created the biggest headache for me later. the guy that they had to the wiring truly didnt do any research, one thing led to another harnesses are cut, shit isnt grounded.... and so on.

I decided not to do the project myself cuz of the time my job took up, but looking back i def should of. when they had "finished" the car everything was messed up, it was barely running. the o2 sensor wasnt the right one, i was throwing p0607 performance control module code. so I spent tons of time researching diagrams and websites tring to find as much as i could. all in all i fixed the o2 problem and the p0607 along with other codes and abs light, now working on the 07 airbag swap.
