NewbieMod96Geo's 1996 Geo Prizm

Okay, the story on this car. I had bought a truck off a lady in my small little town for $500 and it was in pretty good condition but it was HORRID on gas. I decided to go back to school and would have to travel over two hours to get back home so I decided to trade it in and try to find a small car and went to a used car dealership and saw this little beauty. It was an as is special and they wanted $1000 for it due to the rocker pannels and some brake work that was needed, it is not inspectable. So I offered to give a streight trade for my truck and they took it (I was kinda getting screwed on the deal due to the KBB value was $2,800 in fair condition and it was in good condition with 83k miles.)  BUT I needed a car with good gas milage so I went with the deal and come to find out I wasn't able to get into school so I am once again stuck in this little town in northern NH for another few months. I get bored easily so I need to keep myself busy and with the lack of entertainment around here I went searching the internet to find a project. I stumbled upon a couple of your pages while I was just looking for some new struts (one of rear struts is blown) and got very turned on to the potential of this little ghostly geo. I have decided to turn this negative string of events into a possative one!

Here are some of the shots before any work is done to it. I particularly like the spray painted rusty rims and rotted out rocker panels ;)

Thats what road salt does when not cleaned off properly...

nice ride man, ya they dont have much aftermarket support for prizms so its all mostly custom fab.ya they dont make tailights and the corolla projectors arent that hard to fit in the fenders,i did it and im no fuckin mechanic, and i love thosw wdm rims and look into nitto neo gen zr's for tires. keep modding and keep me posted on the build

their are no aftermarket tail lights for the prizm, so just smoke yours, leave them or make your own.
