Here was my only problem so far, pulling into school I lost the clutch in my car, the facing completly disentegrated(SP?) off one side of the disk. I had a new one in it in about a nite, the longest part was the wait. I guess 214,000 miles is a little much for the stock clutch!
Here's the motor compartment with the trans. removed. As you can see it's still green, that's the project for this winter. The motor looks so small without the trans.
Here's the chunk of aluminum that's supposed to be in that empty spot. If you look at the enlarged view you can see the chunks of clutch fiber that are supposed to be attached to the clutch disk.
Out with the old. I used a brand new clutch disk, presure plate, throwout bearing, and pilot bearing when I put the motor back together.
