Hey all, This is my '72 AMC Matador. It's a rare 2 door with the 304 cubic inch V8 and automatic 3 speed transmission. This car has 69,000 original miles and was stored in a barn/garage since the 80's. It's in good shape needing only minor bodywork. I have rebuilt the motor and the body is primered except for the roof which I havent got to yet. It has been in my garage since '07 when I bought it and I work on it when I can. Please sign my guestbook and have a good one.
These 2 pictures are from the day I bought it.

When it settled the next day in my garage.

When I was removing the interior, after taking out the backseat found a complete set of AMC Dealer Floormats underneath it (note the interesting rocket car next to the AMC logo). I have searched and searched and have not found anymore like this anywhere.

The 304 before and after...

As it sits right now I have about 5 or 6 small patches to do with the oxy-acetylene torch, once that is out of the way the build process begins; updates will be more frequent & will consist of a new page and lots more pictures.
