Soooooo, basically I bought this car for $250.00 and it just needs rotors, pads, struts, and I had to clean my crank positioning sensor. Aside of that, she runs beautifully. OH! In addition I need a new hood deflector.

I wet-sanded and polished my headlights to get rid of the yellowness of them for the time being

My Project:

Okay, my outlook has changed a bit for the time being. I ran into some issues. Hence, I got this car for $250. My Crankshaft Positing Sensor has become faulty. I have that replaced to only realize that my engine wiring harness is ENTIRELY deteriorated. So I ripped the top end of my engine apart to get it all out. Now I have a new harness in great shape ($20). I will post the pictures of me ENJOYING redoing the engine and component wiring :S

Nice contour bro you have a great chassis setup for some good rally fun! The contour/escort has always been a rally favorite for FWD class. You'd be surprised what that car can do off road man! Try it out sometime! Thank you for checking out my Subaru WRX with 81 mods and supporting it for SOTW with votes, comments, and stars! Much appreciation yo!

Thanks for the comments, If you are looking for parts or DIY info. Head over to www.contour.org and check out the forums section. There are a few guys that have coverted a pre-98 into a SVT or SE, some even prefer the pre 98 trunk lid and tails, so you will have some parts to trade or sell.
