this is my 2002 ford ranger xlt 3.0l v6 havent had it very long maybe about 6 or 7 months. basicly its a stock v6 but with a little time and some money i think i can make it into something anyone can be proud to drive. being a 2002 its very clean the previous owner must of took care of it. although it was a little problematic at first having a lot of valve clatter. i think i pretty much have that sitiuation under control now. i think its about time i start doing some upgrades on it. if theres anyone out there that has some good ideas lemme know im always open to suggestions. all i plan on working on right now is engine mods and later the exterior and then eventully interior upgrades

current upgrades:

volant air intake

new smaller underdrive, alternator, and water pump pulleys , gatorback belt purchased from underdog perofmance

future performance upgrades:

gibson exaust (before end of year)

 gibson headers

djm suspension kit, drop 3" in the front 3" in the rear

bore out the intake manifold

and the list goes on ........theses are some of the first things i want done as i get them ill add more to the list

future exterior mods:

two tone paint scheme (black on top silver on bottom)

paint lower front bumber valence silver to match paint

billet grill top and bottom

replace stock headlights with black ones , black cornerlights, hid kit possibly black out tail lights (tried aftermarket ones and they didnt fit right)

black and chrome 20"s

future interior mods:

front seats and center consoled swap from an explorer would probably be the main thing take out the 60/40 split for some black leather bucket seats and use the center console

I got a buddy that lives out in Texas he was telling me how awesome it is out there for the scoobs, it seems like out west you guys have it made. When I flew to california recently, I sat and drueled out the window at all the desert roads thinking "I wish I was down there with my scoob" lol
