This is my original 1997 honda civic type-r . Well not exactly. It has its mods but what civic doesnt?....
I picked up this car for only $4200 and its worth every penny in my eyes :) the car has many mods and i am sure i have not found them all yet. But where should i start? i guess engine....it has the B16B with a Spooner t3/t4 turbo and custom intercoller. TRUE cold air intake. and a custom battery box(yeah i know cool right.......not really i know) INTERIOR: 2 megan racing seats with mugen racing 6 point harnesses. Custom diamond plate floor boards. 12 speaker kenwood system including 2 kenwood ledacy subs in custom built box. I have no back seat becuase of the sub box. There is also an x box under rear "seat" next to a kenwood 10 disc cd changer. All the fun guages including boost, rm,volt and air to fuel ratio. car is flawless inside:) also 7 in lcd tv
There are neon's in the sub box to match the underglow neon's. The car has a total of 130,000 miles but has had a full head replacement with all new pistons rings bearings as well as all new turbo bearings. the car has many many mods but i cant remember them all lol. on the outside i have 45 degree lambo doors, mugen racing hood and a one off veilside front valance. no side skirts or rear valance yet..... the car did have graphics along the side but they were not the best lookin so i took them off lol.
The suspension has been replaced with all elbach coil over shocks and has manual rack racing steering by skunk 2 racing. The rims are 17 inch enki rims wrapped in a super low profile yokohama street/drag tire. the car sticks to the round like glue. There is a wing on the rear hatch. it will stick to the ground on some hairy turns at around 80 mph.
The turbo is a spoon turbo that can only be bought striaght from japan. worth bout $3200. oiled bearing water cooled. only running 5lbs of boost there is no boost controller as of yet nor turbo timer but i will get there soon.
