As many of you may know by now, I have a real passion for cars.  But this one here is one I have had a thang for since I was born.  It is a 1972 Chevy Nova.  I have wanted one of these since I was knee high to a grasshopper.  I remember when I was younger, all the cool guys drove these.  They were the guys who got alllll the hot girls.  Well, I GOT ME ONE NOW!!!  LOL

Man it is sweet.  It has a 305 2 bolt main engine, and rebuilt transmission the previous owner had done before he parked it.  (He gave me the receipts)  And it came with a NEW Edlebrock 600 Carb, and NEW Edlebrock Intake, and a NEW set of hooker headers!!!!  The previous owner was the second owner.  He brought the car from the original owner back in 1989 down in Florida.  It even has a old Florida tag on the front.  The car even came with a title.  He stop driving the car a year ago because he wanted to put a new crate motor in it and because the neighborhood he lives in on the west side of Atlanta Georgia is known for car thefts and car jacking.  So he parked the car in his drive way, let all the air out of the tires, and there it sat.  So one day as i cruised by, I noticed the car sitting there.  My brother lives across the street from him.  Well, I couldnt just let her sit there.  Thats like....thats like going to a strip club and not tipping...lol.  So i asked him if he wanted to sell it and he said NO like he probably had told everyone else who has crowded his drive way with offers.  But I expressed my love for the car by going into my wallet and making him a cash offer right then and there...IT WORKED.  Not only did he give me the car with a title, but he also threw in a BRAND NEW STILL IN THE PLASTIC AND BOX...Edlebrock Carb, Intake, and a set of Hooker headers.  This is like a dream come true.  I got her to the house on 9/12/09.  Brought a new battery, some oil and a new filter, and a new fuel pump.  We are going all the way with this one.  I bet you are wondering what he sold her to me for......Oh I love these cars.... Here is what she looks like now.  Stay tuned.

Has a little surface rust around the rear quaters but nothing to bad ahh.  Look at all the new parts that came with the car.  All were still in boxes and platic.

It does have a small hole in the drivers side floor.  Wont be there for long.   Man that steering wheel has to GO and so does the dash pad.  The original color of the car is the green you see peaking out from the flaked up plum purple paint.  I think thats the color we are going with.

No door panels or carpet but hey, that means less work for me.  Bucket seats look pretty good.

305 Engine.  No leaks...

This car is in great shape and we are ready to get started.  First thing is to figure out a plan for it.  I am thinking since it is a true factory V8, lets go back all original.  No fancy wheels or radios.  Just a true numbers matching car.  What do you think???

you could go mostly original with some performance mods but not alter it too much but keep the rallies you dont need big rims and shit on a muscle car now big tires in the back are cool but 14 and 15inch rims will do
