OK, so here she is... My 1989 Toyota MR2. I recently purchased her localy for on $200! The guy was asking $1,000. Its a clean title, A/C works great, 165k, Clean interior, Clean aftermarket 14's. He said the strut rod was bent and only cost $30. I quickly informed him that the front left wheel's camber was because the wheel bearing was out and it would take me a lot of work ;-).
I offered $450, and he accepted. Then he couldn't find the title, so I ended up only paying $200. I found the title under the factory sub a week later, haha.
I sourced all 4 wheels worth of suspension from an '89 off of craigslist for $40. Replaced the LF hub and have been driving the car daily. I also scored the car that the suspenion came off of, minus the drivetrain and front clip for $50. I will be swapping the carpets over soon.
I recently purchased some new 1 1/2" gauges. I was originally going to use some black wrinkle finish abs plastic to make a mounting surface for them. I ended up deciding on Stainless Steel.
