Since there are two blower cars in town already, I wanted to be a little different, so after ALOT of pleading with the wife, and recovering from the sticker shock, this is what I ended up with. Now I can say I have a blown and injected 383. The top hat is an electronic 8 injector Enderle bug catcher by BDS. A FAST ecu controls the fuel and timing needs. To maintain the 60 psi flow needed, it is fed with an Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump and boost referenced regulator. The spark is fired by a MSD Pro Billet distributor, MSD Blaster coil, MSD 6AL, Taylor Spiro-Pro 8mm wires, and NGK UR6 plugs. The high electrical needs of the ecu and ignition system are handled with a Powermaster 140 amp alternator. The engine is spun over with a 1.9 hp Hitachi starter. Runs on 92 octane with 10 lbs. of boost. Don't have any dyno runs or track times, but for now, it really doesn't matter much to me. If and when I tire of cruising her around, then it will be time to start going to the track.
