The Story of 'Headers' Following the battle with 'The Fallen' & the events that would come to be known as the Harvester Incident, Optimus Prime again re-iterated his call for wayfaring Autobots to join him on Earth in his struggle against the Decepticons. Light years away Headers had been quietly tracking the movements of several Decepticons when he received the transmission. By the time he received Optimus' message Headers had been traveling through the cold drifts of space for almost four years. For the last four years Headers had been attempting to keep tabs on Decepticon movement; doing his part, doing what he could to report Decepticon intel to other small factions of Autobots he would come across in the vast of space. Every so often this intel would allow him to successfully engage small groups of Decepticons, diminishing Decepticon numbers a few at a time in what was becoming a sort of gorilla war in space. Up until now Headers was wholly unaware that Optimus & other Autobots had found their way to Earth. There had been rumors that Optimus was leading a small band of Autobots in a fight against the Decepticons on a small distant world, rumors that the 'All Spark' had been located & then destroyed, even rumors of Optimus' death. But these were all just rumors among the more scattered of the Autobots. Headers never had any evidence of this, let alone the exact location of the alleged distant world. But now... with the voice of Optimus ringing through his logic boards, putting truth & substance to the rumors, providing him with the location of Earth, beckoning him to join the fight - Headers wasted no time charting a course for Earth. On Cybertron Headers had once fought side by side with his kin, Bumble Bee. Separated during a fierce battle & alone these last four years, Headers was looking forward to standing with his kin once more in their common eon long fight. The journey to Earth was not quick, but the long route allowed him to gather support & aid for Optimus as he reported what he now knew to Autobots he encountered along the way. By the time Headers arrived on Earth he had in tow several other loyal Autobot soldiers such as Dry Shot, Ascender & Switch. Upon their arrival they learned of the destruction of the 'All Spark', the death & re-birth of Optimus Prime, the destruction of the Harvester, the battle with 'The Fallen'. Most importantly was the knowledge that Megatron & Star Scream managed to escape to repair, rebuild & scheme again for another day. Optimus Prime made it clear that so long as Megatron functions peace cannot be taken for granted on Earth or among any surviving Autobots where ever they may be. Until the Decepticon threat is terminated Optimus Prime has vowed to protect the Earth & its human inhabitants. To this end the small band of recently arrived Autobot reinforcements has been strategically dispatched to different areas of the Earth. Headers was assigned by Optimus to the Southwest region of the United States & is currently monitoring activity in Phoenix Arizona. Therefore, once on Earth Headers choose to take the form of a 2002 Pontiac WS6 Trans-Am. Of course he couldn't simply take the stock set up & has modified himself with more than a few sexy upgrades. Like most Autobots he has his own unique personality & his own unique style. While some wait in disguise for the moment when the call to arms goes out, others like Headers can't resist exploring & experiencing this world the humans call Earth. He keeps his disguise, blending in with the human population, but part of his personality is showing off in subtlety much like the Autobot Mirage, but without the stuck up attitude. To quench this aspect of himself Headers visits a few car shows now & then to show off his pipes & wheels. His favorite quote among many is, "In the fight it doesn't matter if you win or loose. All that matters is the CDI (Chicks Dig It) factor." These shows also provide him a good opportunity to get out & conduct further reconnaissance on Decepticon activity.
