This vehicle has been in my family since new.  It has almost 300,000km on it and runs perfectly!!  The explorer 5.0L V8 is known for its reliability and this truck is a prime example of that.  There is not a drop of oil or fluid leaking or sweating if you get underneath the motor/transmission/transfercase.  It has been maintained very well with synthetic fluids.

Factory Options :

- Mobile hands-free car phone (nice technology for 1996), JBL audio system with subwoofer and 6 disc CD changer and rear audio control, vehicle infomation center (mileage, distance to empty, system check, oil status, etc).  Driver and passenger 8-way power leather seats with inflatable back support.  Auto headlights, keypad entry.

Mods :

ENGINE: MAC Dual Inlet/Sinle Outlet Cat-Back exhaust, MAC intake, SCT Tuner

SUSPENSION/DRIVELINE: Explorer Express X-Spec Suspension kit with larger sway bars front/rear and Edelbrock specifically tuned shocks, Cobra R replica wheels 17"x9", 265/65R17 Nokian WGR2 SUV 4 SEASON tires

INTERIOR: Sheepskind seat covers,  leather steering wheel cover, re-covered arm rest and door panel inserts, black floor mats, and painted speaker grilles.

EXTERIOR: 9 Window tint, removed roof rack bars, painted faded black metal trim

STEREO/ELECTRONICS: Was a factory JBL with 6-disc in console and factory sub.  Sirius hardwired. Remote Starter.  Added Clarion double DIN DVD player, Bluetooth phone and IPOD.  Added dynomat extreme to all 5 doors and replaced factory door speakers with Pioneer 6"x8" 4-ways, and replaced factory JBL sub with 6.5" JL W3 subwoofer and ORION amp in factory enclosure.  SEE PAGE 2

347 Stoker motor from Fordstrokers with Trick Flow Specialties "fast as cast" 190 cc heads, TFS Streat Heat intake, custom ground camshaft.  Motor to be ready later 2010.
