UPDATE 2006
Finished rebuilding the motor.


Brought quench (.038) down, raised the compression ratio to 11:1. Installed a new 4340 forged crank, and windage tray. Balanced to '0 gm', clearanced and blueprinted. Added a set of ported Brodix RR 200 heads, a Holley/Proform 810 cc (actual flow rate) carb and a Super Victor intake. Also updated the cam. Went with a solid lifter 4/7 cam from CompCams (.252 dur @ .050 and .569 lift) Also installed a set of ceramic coated (Jet Hot) Hooker Super Competition Headers with the big tubes.
Still needs to be painted, but its next on the list. I did get the cowl hood on, and it looks hot....
