slemay83's 2002 Dodge Durango  slemay83's 2002 Dodge Durango

This is my 2002 Dodge Durango SLT Limited . Fully loaded and then some!

So far I have a new grille, clear signal lights, tinted, LED tail lights, 20'' rims, and a few other small mods.

Here is a timeline of the mods, I'll start from square one and keep updating it as a go along, because I love many many things planned for the future of my durangO!

Here we go! Starting in Spring 09 :

This is the oldest picture I have, when I bought it it wasn't tinted but this is pretty much how she looked when I bought it. First thing I did was tint .. and here we are -

The stock grille was reaallly chipped out and rusted, this vehicle is 95% highway driving, so the bumper paint is chipped and the grille was shit. I will get the bumper painted soon!

Here is a view of the new grille

I hated the orange signal lights those things are bunk haha so I popped in some clear corners:

The clear signal lights make the grille fit in a bit more, lookin clean!

Desperately need the bumper painted!

Summer 09

I wish I would have taken before and after shots of the interior, that shit was destroyed! Very muddy and dusty, But I cleaned'er right out and it's looking good! Here are some interior shots:

Leather is mint:

Gotta have a case of Pilsner for emergencies ;)

Stock tailights are boring, I bought some smoked housing LED tailights to replace.

We had some trouble putting these in, notice the gap between the light and the body! It wouldn't even come close to getting in there properly ..

Took a couple hours, we just filed down the corner base in the behind the light and they fit like butter now.

Check em out!

One more of the ass:

I'll get some night shots of those lights soon, they light up really nicely! Bright as hell!

It's kind of a bad pic, but you can notice the blue flame brake pedal I added

I bought it for cheap off Ebay, the gas pedal doesn't even fit at all. I kinda like having just the brake pedal done haha but one of these days I'll actually buy some decent pedals and have the whole set

Engine pictures will come, as well as night shots, I have blue headlights in so I want those night shots too!

FOR THE FUTURE:

-Bumper painted, and all chips and dents removed next wednesday!

-SUBS!

-Cold air intake

-In dash DVD system, anyone have any good suggestions? I like the JVC KW avx 810 but I've heard tooo many negative things about JVC

- I may play with suspension a bit. Lowered would make the rims look bigger, I think I'll wait til next summer for that.

Thanks for checkin' it out! Many more mods and lots more pictures to come!

Hey man!....just stopped by to check out the Dingo again....I got my projectors on Ebay for $150....I like the Chrome ones with the clear reflectors instead of the Orange ones of course!....I like the way the headlights kind of sticks out a little, and the Angel Eye Halos really top it off!....wish I could have Blue L.E.D.s for my turn signals like I had in New York, but it's too much of a hassle in New Jersey!....yo save one of those damn pilsners for me!!!

SSSSSUP Steve!I know what you mean bout gettin pulled over for the tint.....I got stopped one day for that tint I had on my front windows (at the bottom of page 8)....just to avoid getting another ticket, I decided to remove it off the windows....when the cop seen me pulling the tint off, he said he would not write the summons....what kind of Blue Lights do you have in the front?....you got the L.E.D.s, or those corny standard round ones?
