1989 Ford Ranger XLT

I recently bought a project truck for $400. It has 100,000 original miles on it, and a blown head gasket. I usually am more of a Honda buff, but I decided I wanted a mini truck project. It is still under construction...

Not too bad for $400

Front end tear down

The worst part on the truck is the rusted roof

Took the doors off so I could shave the mirrors

The passenger door had been fixed previously...and not very good.

After filing it to bare metal, 4 wipes, and a lot of welding, the mirrors were shaved.

Good start to your project. I love the square body Rangers. Looks like its gonna be killer. Can't wait to see it put together in full color. What are your future plans for it? Are you going to change the suspension...raise it, slam it, or leave it stock height? 5 STARS***** Check mine out sometime if you get a chance.
