1989 Ford Ranger XLT
I recently bought a project truck for $400. It has 100,000 original miles on it, and a blown head gasket. I usually am more of a Honda buff, but I decided I wanted a mini truck project. It is still under construction...

Not too bad for $400

Front end tear down

The worst part on the truck is the rusted roof

Took the doors off so I could shave the mirrors

The passenger door had been fixed previously...and not very good.
After filing it to bare metal, 4 wipes, and a lot of welding, the mirrors were shaved.

Ordered new fenders

Shaved Ranger emblems

Stripped and primed bumper filler

Front end in sealer

Front end in paint

Dupont Hot Hues Orange Tango with Gold Xyrellic Pearl

Looks more orange then red in true sunlight

After 5 hours prepping the roof, finally in paint

Finished product on cab
The truck is currently getting the motor rebuilt. I will post new pictures soon.
****NEW PICTURES OF CAB****
Motor was completely rebuilt from ground up. No original parts are left on the 2.9L

Shaved the mirrors and blacked out the cab light

Next project is the bed and front bumper

New clear headlights, clear corners, and clear turn signals with HID bulb conversion

Aluminum billet grill

Will be laying tear graphics out on front in the next few weeks
MORE PICTURES TO COME...
