66 GT 350 Replica – Restomod - Racer
Started out as a 65 6-cylinder plan Jane Mustang w/green on green and took 4 years to build to what you see now. It has a sapphire blue with white Lemans strips with a racing front apron and black interior accompanied with a six-point roll bar. Paint done by D&D paint in Stanton CA. Dyno’d rear wheel HP 420 with 18+ mpg highway and race ready. It features 4 wheel disc brakes, with air ducts to all four corners, T5 trans rebuilt and modified for racing w/Hurst Competition Plus shifter, Global West Suspension, Versailles 9” w/3:50 posi rear.
Engine: Sportsman B50 block - bored .030 over and stroked to 3.25, balance and blue printed to 7500 RPM, w/AFR 185 cc exhaust ports, 58 cc chamber, Flow Tech 1”5/8 tube headers followed by 3” chamber Flow Master mufflers and then 2.50” mandrel bent Flow Master dual exhaust out the back w/a cross over pipe.
Interior: Grant 15” GT steering wheel, black Rally Pro bucket seats by Scat. The dash has a full complement of VDO Night Design gauges. To hold me as well as protect me there is a RCI 5 point harness for both driver and pass along with a 6 point roll bar: custom built by Fast Eddy in Orange.
