My name is brandon, aka gilligan, and my passion is cars plain and simple! I love the sound, the customizing, and most of all driving...all my friends know I love to drive. I have been going crazy wanting to build something and I have this 85' CRX but I don't have enough funds for it. I get paint free so I could paint and thats it. I've been looking for a 2nd Gen and I found an 89' CRX Si. I'm trying hard to get it cause I like the body style a lot better and it has more potential. Once I get it the real build will start. In the meantime here is what I have to work with....

Ok so here is my 85' CRX....Possibly FOR SALE..let me know if you are interested, I am posting all problems, damages, new parts, and future plans....to be honest I am more of a Nissan guy cause they have more that I like. I used to be one of those guys that said things like "it's just a stupid Honda, they are way over rated!" and "Omg another d@mn honda!" or "What a piece of $h!t" but after my saturn was wrecked this little thing was all I could afford. I thought d@mn I have to settle for this!? Why cant I just find a Nissan? Well I couldn't at the time so I had to do what I had to do... I thought to myself, well there are tons of parts for Hondas and I'm sure I can find someone to help me with it, but before I knew it I was loving every minute of driving this thing!!! So I started researching what can be done to my car. I found out not many companies make 1st Gen parts anymore so I'll have to do them myself. While a little bummed out I was loving this car more and more! Now I can't stand to see it in the condition it's in!! I love cars, I mean they are my passion, meanwhile a car that I used to hate but soon grew to love is in need of restoration! lol Now I am looking at getting one with more starting potential, an 89' CRX Si... So for anyone that says Honda is gay or they are worthless, shut up till you drive a CRX! They are a Blast!

I don't know where that piece in front of the hood came from but it was like that when I got the car. The hood lines don't match up with it. The lines on the piece are wider and the edges where cut off to fit.

You can see the lines I was talking about better here.

See how it was cut? Terrible job

How they bolted it on.

Middle of driver side front fender. I heard these were common stress fractures for this year

Nothing really wrong with this side.

Or from this angle.

Small hole in the passenger side tail light. Also there when I bought it

A small dent and spot of rust thanks to my best friend Jerry. He threw a piece of pipe at a power line and it threw it back at my car and barely caught it. I saw the whole thing. It was an accident.

This is on the passenger door. Also how I bought it.

A dent above the passenger side door handle.

Passenger side front fender. This side isnt as bad but the paint chiped off in a wash.
