 this is my 1978 GMC sierra clasic/step-side, i have put alot of work in it,but i still have much more to go. the work was done by me and my uncle, we installed new engine and performance parts. i also did the hole interior and rewire every thig inside and out. i need to finish body and paint and also redo the wood in theback.                                                  chevy_ryder_916's 1978 GMC Sierra Classic  chevy_ryder_916's 1978 GMC Sierra Classic  this is the color it has now,but iam trying to put one that is a little less dark than this one,if you think you know of a color that might look good in it let me knowgive me ideas of a color it will help me out alot.                                                        chevy_ryder_916's 1978 GMC Sierra Classicchevy_ryder_916's 1978 GMC Sierra Classic       this is how my interior turned out to look like we added new carpet,panels and some paint and details to the existing parts. i would of liked to have the bucket seat with the center counsel in the middle but i have a family and we wouldnt fit if we went out for a spin.chevy_ryder_916's 1978 GMC Sierra Classic chevy_ryder_916's 1978 GMC Sierra Classicchevy_ryder_916's 1978 GMC Sierra Classicchevy_ryder_916's 1978 GMC Sierra Classic    this is the inside of my hood we installed a new 1978 350 engine that i bought at the chevy dealership for about $1,950.00  i also added new distributer ,carb, intek optima battery and other parts. most of the parts i purshed are edelbrock  high performance parts. i installed it about 2 years ago but only drove it for about 120 miles from my house to the shop and the smog place and back home. i plane to take out when its completly done. i still want to do work on it so if have any ideas or comments post them up i would like to have more ideas or point of views to look at.                                                         chevy_ryder_916's 1978 GMC Sierra Classic what do you think about the brake lights they were customly insatalled by my uncle when he use to own it. the are not the stock lights a 78 pick up wouls cary. i belive that the came out from a pick up of the 60's. does it look good so far or what send comments and tell me what you think.
