This is my '94 Civic LX. I wish I would have taken before and work in progress pictures. But f**k it anyways here it is. I bought this bone stock a few years ago. So everything you see done I did. I did it all myself and by myself. I love working on my car. I always get people trying to race me. Unfortunately I'm not a racer. I have a stock 1.5 engine with over 230,000. Thats right 230,000 and it runs strong. Not only just a 1.5 but I have over 400lbs worth of stereo in my trunk. So, I'm really not trying to race. Don't get me wrong I have gotten other Hondas that have rolled up beside me revving. It does have some get up! Don't be a stock 4dr civic and want to try me. LOL! I am a stereo junky. I love clean sounding music! I want it to sound like she is in my car singing to me live. I love BASS! clean hard hitting chest pounding can't swallow takes your breath away BASS! since I need to have sound quality. I have an all ALPINE system! For me, personally ALPINE has the best head units out PERIOD! The is nothing like crisp clean clarity. ALPINE does that. I CAN NOT stand distortion. I won't even ride with you if your shit sounds distorted. I have done a very little with the engine for performance, just some bolt on parts I figure theres not really much I can do with a 1.5L. I did put a intake, HEDMAN HEDDERS and a full MAGNAFLOW cat back exhaust on. For what I have done it drives tight and has no problem passing on the highway. When this engines finally does die then LOOK OUT! I will be seriously hooking up my engine swap. My friends rag me about my little 1.5L. I could have put the $$$ in my engine instead of my stereo and had a bad ass set up, but why? Theres nothing like pulling up beside someone and they look over in disgust when the system isn't even really up and roll there windows up as if that will help. When that happens I turn it up to 21 from around 10 (hey, I'm still being respectful. It goes up to 35 undistorted). And watch there mirror bounce to my sweet sweet music. My rims are 17" MB Design GEAR wheels wrapped with NITTO 205/40 NT NEO-GEN tires. And full Drop Zone suspension. My frame is 3-3/8" off the pavement and the body kit is 2" I have Megan Racing rear lower control arms and front/rear camber kit. Believe it or not this car will still do 110+mph smooth and easily and it dosen't knock, ping, smoke or leak anything.
My system is:

(email Nate @ Excessive Amperage if you want a bad ass alt.)
With my headlights, wipers, A/C, all my interior LEDs and undercar LEDs and my system cranked up my volts never drop below 14.3v and I don't have a second battery. Just the Stinger 10 farad cap and the OPTIMA YELLOW TOP under the hood and one bad ass custom built 180amp alternator. My stock alt. was only 70amps. When I added my 2nd ALPINE MonoBlock amp my system would shut the car off nevermind dimming the headlights. I melted the fused distribution block under the hood by the batt. from my system starving for power trying to pull amps because stock alt could not handle the load i was putting on it. Yeah, you can imagine what that was like!
If you're into stereo systems you must get a H.O. ALT. or nothing else you do matters like:
new batt. won't matter, capacitor or several capacitors won't matter, 2nd batt. won't matter,or big power wire won't matter. Now, All the above is all great. BUT, only if you have a alternator to keep it all powered.
Let me know what you think about my project so far.
(the date/year was set wrong on my camera, all pics were taken in the past couple of months)

What I have planned very soon is to get verticle doors, a new front body kit, and paint. I have decided to add another ALPINE mono block amp and 12" ALPINE sub for a total of 3. I have to build another box and I am going to design it a little different then what you see here. I will also be adding STINGER Road Kill (I def need it)
