Well, here is the latest addition to my garage.

Its a 1988 BMW 735i that I recently purchased on ebay.  I've always been a fan of BMW and now I finally own one. The pictures you see here are the actual pictures that were on the eBay listing that  purchased it from. It is in excellent condition with no rust and no tears in the leather.

I just had it professionally appraised (for insurance) and it was appraised at over 9 times what I paid for it on ebay. I was pleasantly surprised.

It comes completely loaded with leather, automatic dual zone climate control, power & heated seats, moon roof, heated mirrors and door locks.

I removed the sunroof deflector off the roof and put in a new set of plugs and adjusted the valves.

While I had the valvecover off to adjust the valves, I cleaned and painted it.

There's a few things I've already done in the last week or two. I replaced the original cassette player with a CD player that I tied into the existing amplifier and 10 speaker system. It sounds great althought I still plan on upgrading it to a better looking deck to fit the look of the dash better.  I just plan on adding some subs and an amp. I'll be firing the bass through the center hole on the rear seats.

I also have a dislike for woodgrain on the dash (unless it's a Bentley or Rolls etc.) so I removed all the wood ( and it was real wood!) and painted it black before returning it back in the car. Better.

I replaced the front brakes with crossdrilled rotors, ATE ceramic pads and painted the calipers.

I also plan on getting a new set of rims and tires for a more sporty look. Here are the original rims.  They cleaned up alright. The apraiser told me the wheels were worth more than what I paid for the car. Sweet!

I also have a Jocobs Electronics high performance ignition system that I have for another project but I think it may be better suited for the BMW. I`ve also just purchased a Dinan perormance chip.  According to Dinan, it`s good for an additional 43HP.  We`ll see!

I also added a rear park distance control system.  Very cool.

Anyway, that's it so far.

Check back later for more updates.
