Mazda Lantis 1.8(A) - August 9th 2009
Things done so far the day I bought it. Tie Rod ends, Ball Joints, and Antirollbar links. Upgraded the front windows bushes, to eliminate wind and water penetration on this old 13 yr old hot hatch !
Tinted black all round, blocking 65% of sunlight.
The car came with a miserable 14" rims, wrapped with Michelins MX1. Slided through rain 1 day.... it must go. Swap an unknown 16" Japanese made rims with ContiSport Contact-t1 all around.
Still has alot of touch up to go. The antiroll bar half moon bushes is next.

I found my KFZE V6 2.0 - LSD Stick shift half cut from a JDM Lantis Type R. Giving a stock 170hp. Its booked !
2.0 L KF - 1995 cc (78x69.6 mm)
The Lantis Type R variant produced 170 hp (130 kW) and 140 ft·lbf (190 N·m).



Oct 12th 2009, its in my engine bay !

The smoothness and silent'ness of the engine is sweet. Stock standard at the moment. Planning to re-install back the leftover Emanage Blue from my previous ride. End of this year... or sooner...
But I need an adjustable to stabilize the ride immediately. stay tuned...


22nd Oct - Found my adjustables. H.I.T. Locally brewed in Boleh-land. A fellow forumer has this on his Lantis and found it quite alright. Hence, searched high and low for a used set. Will be installed to my ride tomorrow. Hope it performs better than HWL.
