8-29-09 Current Project

Well I found out today the 460 was a little too much torque for the stock pinion yoke as you can see below. The driveshaft and ujoint were fine but it twisted off that whole chunk of the yoke taking the u-joint bracket with it lol. :P

I decided to take this opportunity to upgrade it to a much stronger unit that can handle the 460 with all the mods i plan on doing to it later on :) So I visited broncograveyard.com and ordered me a new forged pinion yolk, seal, pinion nut, and ujoint clamps. They have very reasonable prices.

I will be upgrading the drive shaft to a heavy duty racing one from www.dennysdriveshaft.com/c4_4x4_driveshafts.html in the future but for now ill keep using the old one.
