You can see video's of the Monte Carlo SS running on my Youtube Channel, just go to http://youtube.com/snowboi1289 . Also, here are some of my Ebay stuff for sale http://shop.ebay.com/snowboi850/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

'snowboi1289's 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

^This is my 1986 Monte Carlo SS. It is my second car. It was previously owned buy a guy that didnt take care of it. I seen it, and loved it. I sold my first car (1995 Nissan Maxima, alot of memory's), I sold it for a little bit less than I planned. i basicly sold my first car that was great on gas, for a gas hog 350 V8. I feel bad, because the guy I sold the car to, never took it to the mechanic when it started to have problems, I said I would pay for it.

^It has some rust, that I'm trying to take care of. Its not perfect, but its a good car. Its kinda stock, it doesnt have original 305. It has a 350 V8, Holly carb., headers, true dual exaust, and some engine mods.

^This is back when I dropped the tank, cleaned and repainted the tank. Cleaned the sender and connections aswell. Found some small parts of rust, alot of dirt and dust!

^I had a aftermarket Sony stereo in it, but I decided to just cover it up, for now, and hook up my Ipod. I dont really listen to loud music, so no real use for a stereo right now. Also, I needed to get a stereo bracket.

^This dust just fell off, thanks to previous owner. The previous owner aparently never took care of his cars, now that I have it, I will be more htan happy to get the things it needs the most. Like new brakes, drums, discs, ect..

^That morning was great. Decided to sit out at the beach, watch the sun come up. Actually I stayed up all night sitting near the Monte Carlo SS to watch the sun rise. Loved every second of it.

^This is my broken spoiler. I went to the beach with a couple friends, and I parked the Monte Carlo SS in front of a club, aparently somebody drunk and very stupid didnt like my car, so decided to ruin my spoiler, even though it was broken. It was fixable, until that night, I'm working on it, but the mounts and screws are just screwed now.

^Here you can see my rims look different, I tooka hole day to clean them up, painted them with some cheap rattle cans from the Dollar General. Also, you can see what the spoiler looks like.

^Found some more rust on the body, doesnt look too bad, because its patched. I did clean it with rust cleaner, then patched it with metal pather. There were holes, not just surface rust. I didnt get pictures of the other parts. It was just like 1-2 months ago the I cleaned up all around there, to check for rust, and when I go to look at it, my heart actually stops (not really). I'm planning on going to a paint and body shop to have them look at it, and see how much it may cost to get everything repaired the right way.

^Emblems after repainted. I personally took them off and cleaned them, and then put the emblems all back on.  In person they look great, but on picture they look not bad-ok.

^Got a small video of the exaust after putting doing all the Seafoam stuff.

 __________Update: September 23, 2009__________

Ive done some small brake work, such as bleeding and changing hoses. Been real busy with life, the MC SS (Monte Carlo SS) is bitching at me, like now its starting to act up. il leak (it had nearly no oil in the engine, I check on a weekly bases). The lifters were taping, went down to the shop, they told me I drive my car too hard I told them straight up, I dont. Maybe a couple small wanna be burn outs every-now-and-then like to relieve the stress, but not even weekly. I would uplaod some pictures, but my computer doesnt have internet right now, so I'm using somebody elses.

 __________Update: September 26, 2009__________

I've been doing some small engine work, the rockers or lifters were tapping, so took them into the auto shop where I got to school at and fixed em'. They keep coming loose for some odd reason, so looks likes I will need to take the covers off and tighten them again (dont worry, I know how to really tighten them).

snowboi1289's 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

^Now, this right here is about 2 days worth of cleaning and waxing. The cheap paint job that the previous owner had on it had no clear coat or it was very dull. So when I had enough time, I cleaned the car (it was during the night), then the next day I decided to get out the Turtlewax rubbing compound, and did the hole car, then after cleaning all that off, waxed it with Meagiuers (sorry if thats spelled wrong, kinda hard to remember when you dont need to), spend more than 8 hours all together with cleaning, and waxing. Please, comments are welcome, because I feel like it would be really nice after all the time I had.

^After getting a new headlight bucket for the driver side. Look at the black part in front of the headlights. Also found out that my car has been in a wreck. Its not bad, but a couple things just need to be replaced, didnt notice it before because it looked like it was stock. Trust only family you know when buying a old car from anybody.

snowboi1289s 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

snowboi1289s 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

^After I repainted those parts. Its not glossy paint, just flat black. I really like where the "blinker" fluid is placed, wait a second, think about where its placed, please, do not think too hard.....Ok, you thought about it right? Well, good for you, you thought, but there is no such thing as a blinker fluid. A couple days ago, I asked a friend "Where's my blinker fluid on my car", then I asked him "What is the blinker fluid used for", now he actually replied "Your blinker fluid is right there (he was pointing at the radiator)", so I open it while it was cold, he actually told me that it was the blinker fluid, not anything else. I will tell you what, people are getting stupider and stupider every damn day!!!

I'll try to update every week or so, I dont get on the computer as much any more.

^ Benn working hard on the MC SS, while its getting colder/raining more its hard to do some things. The headlights are inda odd looking, one is different, one is about to blow (very dim), and the black paint didnt stick right, so it looks kinda stupid.

snowboi1289s 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

snowboi1289s 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

^ I know its kinda hard to see, but it was just a couple hours ago when I took all the pictures (at night). There bright enough to see what I need to see. I may get new brighter ones, but its great how it is. I can see mostly everything, so its good.

Next thing to take care of, is the center console, I'm still thinking/drawing idea's to change it a bit. I'm going to fiberglass most of it, but not too much. I'm planning on using the stock one, and just fill in some cracks, dents, and maybe make/add a couple things.
