I have a 1976 GMC Vandura "Freedom '76" edition. My father had a van like this 20 years ago when I was in Highschool and of course I could never drive it so I jumped at the chance to buy my own when I found it on Craigslist a few months ago. My dad and my brother and I cleaned it up, put some seats in it and tires and now my friends and I party in it on the weekends.
I would love to know more about these vans as information is scarce on-line. It also was missing some of the interior originals like the the sink, the cooler, the tables, and one seat and I would love to come across these someday and do a proper job restoring her. For now she's a hell of alot of fun. 8 track still rocks and engine and tranny have just over 100k and they seem strong as ever.
Anyone with info or comments I would be abliged.
Vans still rock!!!!!!!

That van is so 70`s The paint is crazy. The vandura is the A team van and has been in a few other movies, there starting to make a comeback you stole that van for 750, I`m restoring mine in a army green with cool rims.
