This is my 2000 Regal GS, it came from the factory with the L67(supercharged 3.8 liter) engine rated at 240HP and 280TQ. The color is Navy Blue Metallic and rides on stock 16 chrome wheels. All the money I have put into my ride is in the "Go" area, as I want to build my daily driver into a formidable sleeper.
This is the view that most people see when I take the Sleeper to the track. I generally run at LA County Raceway(RIP Closed 2007), and give most V8s a run for their money. My best time to date is 14.42@96.3mph at 2700ft altitude. Corrected for elevation it should be around 13.95@99MPH. I have since moved to Jupiter FL and added a MAP IC, not very effective, but hey, it helps. I have since ran a 13.96 @ 100.25 with a 2.20 60' in 92* heat and 90+% humidity. When it cools down I will hit the track again and will post better times.
This is a shot of my L67. See my mod page for details on each mod. To date I have TOG Headers with 3" downpipe, DHP PCM, DUB Interchangeable Pulley System, MSP CAI, MAP liquid to air IC. The ubend and resonator in the exhaust have been deleted,180 degree t-stat and AC Delco 41-932 plugs, MSP Gen2 Poly motor mounts.
This is my new intercooler, wait a minute, no, I spent the money on a family vacation to Guatemala. I believe that is Temple 1 at Tikal. Well, just like the IC, I will enjoy the memories of Tikal for years to come. Now I have the intercooler and the memories of Tikal.
