This is my projec t/rebuild. Its an 79' formula. Now before you guys start ragging on me about how it at this and that. Its not supposed to be a restored vehicle. I'll try to answer any questions that you may have, but not going to give away every little detail. I will tell you that I've had this car for a long time, since high school!!! So what makes it so great? The fact that its a crossover year car. At first we didn't even know what kind of motor it had. Was it a 301?? or a 400?? what it is, is a 301T, no no its not a turbo. And even if it were I'd take that weakass factory turbo off, and add dual turbo's, but thats not what I want. Turbos still take too long to spool up and I don't want to deal with all the plumbing. So its ol school all the way with this one.Lets just say for the most part, its in its build up stage, and still working on the motor. The motor is now a 331, minus the factory cam,and crank. The crank is from a buick, a buick what?? can't tell ya.Its been line boared, has 4bolt mains. cast iron heads, with rr's(1.65 roller rockers) custom intake(cause no one makes one for a 301) nice to have friends that own a machine shoppe. And a full 3" exhuast system. The factory rearend will soon be converted to a posi, and drum to disc conversion for the rear as well. Thats all you need to know for now, but I'll keep you all posted on the build. just enjoy the pics. Thanks for lookin.
