INTERIOR~

Console/Accessories~

Console is in a mint condition, It is a dark brown coffee colour. Speedo is 669550miles.

Everything works at the momment fuel level was playing up and fell down all the time, you had to hit above the dash for it to go back to normal but now it seems to work all the time after i played around with it one afternoon.

Glove box~

Main part of the glove box is in farely mint condition. Has a little bit of rust but I think that will come off very easy.

The compartment part of the box is very damaged. I'll probably have to get a new one in the future.

 Cables/Switches~

Headlight switch works perfect so does the highbeam on the floor. Alot of wires i need to try sort out and tuck them away neat so they are out of the way and still work.

Floor pans~

Front~

Rear~

Hamo1993's 1973 Holden Torana Hamo1993's 1973 Holden Torana

Front floor pans will need to be replaced in the not to distant future. Rear ones seem to be fairly good if i buff the up once again and add a rust remover and sealer.

Rear Window~

Near the rear window it has a bit of rust there. I will also need to take the window out to clean up all under the ruber seals and i am also looking at buying new seals because the car leaks in a few places. I have 2 spare windows (front and back). The hole in the centre was were the old speaker was. It was rusted out and the speaker no longer worked so it was removed for the time being.

Doors~

Door lining is in perfect condition it is the same rough colour as the roof which is light brown, coffee sort of a colour. The speakers are in a bad spot but i got the car like that. I will look at changing them in the future.

All door handles, window winders and little consoles are in good condition, I am missing a clip for one of the handles but i will get a new one eventully.

Bit of trouble with the door sometimes. The left hand front one seems to get jamed and you need to hit it just above the handle for it to work. Ive had a look inside and it seems to be ok it might just be a little bent, But again i will look for new ones.

Boot~

Main part of the boot has basicly no rust. Most of that brown/black stuff you see there is the gluey tar used to seal up the gaps. As far as i know everycar had that, It is sort of like a sealer/sound proofing device. But it still has very minor spots of rust.

The sections to keep spares are in good condition also. At the moment they are in use with a few spares. (oil filter, fan belt and a rag)

The fuel tank is in good condition, It has no leaks or anything just a bit of dirt around the edges. I might be looking at getting a drop tank for it or if there is anyway of moderfying the boot to make the tank widder to keep the space in the boot.

Were the spare wheel sits is fairly rusty with a hole in the bottum. I might just be able to fix that myself (with dad) or something along those lines.

All the cables and lights work fine at the moment. Hopefully if the bulb blows they should be easy to find, which im sure they are.

Boot lid on the inside is in excellent condition just might need to get the new rubber seals when i do the whole lot.

Roof Lining~

Hamo1993's 1973 Holden Torana

Roof lining is in mint condition sun visers are ok aswell. Light is fairly dull but i think they are all light that. I might look at getting a better cover in the future. Midle mirror is also in great condition.

Hey mate neat looking LJ, cool project. Is the gearbox an aussie four speed? They commonly jump out of fourth when they get old and tired... should be fairly easy to reco the gearbox, or swap it for a reco'd one. Check out http://www.freewebs.com/aussie4speeds/ Cheers & good luck with it
