I first bought a '78 Corvette Feb. 2008 from a former employer of mine, which started my intrest in Corvettes. That particular car was a big project which needed quite a bit of TLC to begin with. The engine ran, but transmission was trashed and the interior was in horrible condition. My dad found a '77 Corvette for a great price here in Houston and we decided to go check it out. The car was great and garage kept, the owner was needing it sold since he was going to be renting his home out while he was out of the country. So I got the '77 in July 2008 and sold the '78 a few weeks later. After a lot of clean up and resto on the car it started to look great for being the original condition.
