BEFORE AFTER
Hey guys, thank you for checking out the Mustang. A lot of hard work has gone into this car, most of it done by me so any questions on installs, I can help.
I started with the V6 Mustang right after I had gotten out of bootcamp. My license had just been suspended and my insurance premiums were through the roof, so I knew getting a GT was out of the question. I loved the Mustang though, I had to have it.
First item on the agenda, removing that awful side stripe, GONE!
Now, I was home on leave minding my own business and I get a phone call. It was my bald friend jeffie. He had this great story to tell me and, long story short, he traded in his awesome rubicon for this Cobalt SS/TC. I was like crap, now his car is faster and cooler than mine. So, with the help of my enlistment bonus, I did some research and came across the X-Charger(click link, it's a nice read). Jeffie and I installed the X, and boy was it fun!
XCHARGER
The system is all non-intercooled, and I didn't like that. I did some more searching and installed the WET-X.

Dyno results: ~370 HP and TQ not bad!

Now as many of us know, the V6 mustang isn't really big on great looks. I went over to the mustang forums and snatched up some great deals, along with the Cervini's ram air hood. My great collection of good deals(mostly used parts, but in great condition for a lot cheaper.) included; GT front bumper, GT Grill, GT chin spoiler, HID Lights, GT dual exhaust(Went with Pypes X-Pipe), CDC rear trim panel, Headlight splitters, Halo/Projector headlights, and Hood pin appearance kit(because I am NOT drilling into that hood.)

Some little factoids:
The halo rings on the headlights I modified(270Ohm resistors and 8000mcd red leds) all soldered in a custom arranged board. They now glow red.

I removed the silly plastic tri-bar ponies from the fenders, and found that they had post holes. I covered them up with some cobra emblems I found on sale.(Yeah, I know it's not a cobra)

The corner lights, reflectors and taillights are all tinted with sequential taillights.

The third brake light(first one suffered a terrible heat-gun casualty) was replaced with an LED one, and I made a stencil using the font from Blade, {NITEMARE} With painters tape and an exacto knife I made the stencil and painted it with the tint paint.

Now, at this point the car was becoming something quite fierce. Time to move on into the interior. Big thanks to the guy that traded me some speakers for the HID headlights, he got the ball rolling on what would soon be a wicked audio system.
Bought the Head unit from crutchfield. Love it, fit's great, just wish it had more features. It's a little plain. I installed it with the video-bypass, so it can play dvds while driving. I did this so I can play music videos(enjoy the music and occasionally glance at the cool videos).

For the speakers I picked up a sweet set of Infinity Reference CF Components(6x8, tweeter, crossover) I flush mounted the tweeter.

For a better bass package I went with some modest Kicker Comp 8" woofers in the door. Had to extend them with some MDF trim rings and a new fiberglass box, with plenty of eDead everywhere.

To tie it all together I picked up an awesome Eclipse D-Class 4-channel amplifier. Very nice.

Just got the intercooler in, starting the install.

Check out page two, I'm going to fill it with pics from the abandoned military housing.
