Here are a few pics of my newly aquired 86 Fiero GT-T.
Thanks to all that took the time to rate and comment. Im going to add a few more pics. Im currently doing a paint correction and a good cleaning. Once that is done check back for more stylistic photos. Leave me a comment if I should put the wing on or not. Im currently liking the no wing look even though I am a wing guy!. I was also thinking about mounting it further back and almost flush to deck lid....thoughts?
Be sure to check my garage for more kewl cars.

Where to start...first off I should say that I have always found the Fiero to be an interesting car. So when I had the chance to pick one up I went for it. This is also the first time I have bought a car with mods already done. Its a little strange but the previous owner did some stuff that I would of done anyway so its all good. The bad part is I really have no idea what he has done to the engine and suspension. I still have to really tie into the car and do some exploring.
The car has a intercooled turbo running only 8 pounds of boost. Pretty conservative but still very quick and fun to drive. I have already moved the air filter and added a side scoop to get more cool air into the turbo. Im thinking that having an air filter 2 inches from the exhaust manifold was not the way to go. Im also thinking about moving the intercooler further down in the cargo area to mabye grab some cooler air from the bottom of the car.
The seats were trashed and I really wanted to get a set of Mr. Mikes covers but Im not sure on how long I want to keep this car so in the mean time I have put a set of seats from my 86 Trans Am. They just bolt in so that was nice. It looks a little off but its better than a set of ripped up stinky leather ones.
I'm also fixing up the door panels as the previous owner just did a quick wrap job and it shows. I just dropped 300 bucks at the Fiero store and got a few knick knacks to help out the looks. I added new clear front marker lights, new side marker body molding, console cover and pocket, GT nose badge, side scoop and some GT decals for the door panesl. (pics soon)

The reverse nose spoiler on the front was pretty chewed up and rock pitted so I painted it with a texture paint to clean it up. Looks way better but im not sure I like the color so I might paint it black in the future.
No real plans for the car just keep tinkering and modifying for the winter and see what happens in the summer. Stay tuned for more pics very soon.
Thanks for dropping in, please leave me a comment on what you think this car needs!
