Welcome :)

This page is about my 2006 Pontiac Torrent.   When I started looking for a new car, I decided I wanted something that was either faster or significantly different from the car I had before (1998 Black Pontiac Grand Prix).

I settled on this car because it gets decent mileage, handles ok in the winter, is silver (needed a break from black), and is an SUV with pretty much NO aftermarket (should save me some money.)

I plan to keep it mostly stock with the exception of some audio upgrades.

Here's what I've done so far:

Audio:

Head Unit:   Pioneer Premier DEH-P770MP

Front Speakers: Alpine 5 1/4" Type R components

Rear Speakers : Alpine 6 1/2" Type S 2-ways

Sub:   Alpine dual 4 ohm 12" Type R

Amps: Alpine MRP-F450, Alpine MRP-M500

Power Wire: 4ga KnuKonceptz and 4ga Tsunami

RCA Wire: dual shielded Rockford Fosgate twisted pair

Speaker Wire: 3 or 4 different brands and sizes mostly from Home Depot :)

Misc : PAC C2R-GM24B to retain chimes and dummy lights with aftermarket HU

Exterior:

Tint:  20% Global QDP on 2 front windows, 51% Solargard HP Charcoal over factory 20% on the rear window

Interior/Lighting:

-Disabled auto headlights - see pg 4 for writeup

-Disabled DRL's - see pg 4 for writeup

-(2) 194 LED's in front map lights (5 white SMD LED's each)

-(2) Festoon style LED's in rear maplights (9 white SMD LED's each)
