Here she is, empire green metallic... 1 of 46 95 Esprit S4 produced, i have yet to see another in this color.
19 Aug 2009. Its me for another timing belt change, 47k miles. i got a little carried away. i am in the process of reinstalling the intake system now and changing to an electric chargecooler pump.

above is the intake after a light cleaning below is after scrubbing, porting, polishing, media blasting, painting with wrinkle finish paint, painting back to a reddish oriange (more red than original) and then, finally, depainting the fins on the plenum and cam covers.

the small plenum piece to the right (above) took four hours to port! it now weighs less than half of what it did when i started...

the throttle bodies have also had the butterfly screws shaved down to help flow... they were protruding over half an inch!

you can barely see (above left photo) where i removed some aluminum between the ports on the intake. water would sit there and i didnt see any reason not to add some lightness :) since i wasnt pulling the head (i finally stopped there) i merely smoothed the casting, the line you see down the sides of the ports would have required serious porting to remove with no added benefit. those interested will want to know, behind the throttle bodies there was a 2mm ridge around the intake port, almost like a speed bump.

i could have contoured the injector mount more, i had been at it for a few days so i called it good at this point and finally actually changed the timing and accessory belts.
Here are a few pics from when i found her, that was about 8 years ago! she now has 47k miles...

and a couple more pics at home :)
