This is my 1976 Ford Courier Pick-up, Its from San Diego, CA and since has been relocated to Ohio before i bought it. I picked it up for $300. Upon purchase I had plans of dropping the 2.3l and t-5 out of my 90 Mustang.

This is what I started with....

I slowly began de-construction and removed the hood, fenders, and old 1.8 Mazda engine block and 5spd trans.

With further tear down we removed the rear bumper and set the headlights back into the core support 4+ inches and mocked up the fenders and hood to see what it was becoming.

Future plans are to remove the parking lights and possibly door handles.

So far Im extremely happy with what little rust I've found on the truck, no more than 4 small through holes, 3 of them are in the floor and easy to fix.

Pics of the engine mount, dash and heater core removal to come....

P.S.- All mods listed <---, are my plans, few, if any have happed, some parts have been purchased but yet to be installed. Comments and ratings are welcomed and encouraged, Thanks alot.

8/10- So.... I was rumaging thru a salvage yard today and found 3 trucks to do my disk brake conversion, intake, carburator and distributor. Now, just to get them off and bought!!!

8/19- The motor is out of the mustang. In the midst of changing oil pan, intake etc to begin fitting in the Courier.

8/29- Fitting has began and the motor is sitting in the courier, man is it a tight fit.... Im sure it will pay off though.
