My 1987 4Runner
22RE EFI IFS
after how reliable and how great my old 91 pickup hanldled off road i HAD to get another 4cyl yota. real clean in my opinion got it in may of 09 with 150,000 miles no rust all original. has some BF Goodrich All terrain T/A KOs.
the guy who had it before me got backed into or something so the rear left corner is a litttle beat up. but thats the only damage on it. i have BIG plans for this thing. and its gunna be my priority getting it there
The guy who had it before me had FUCKING WALMART AUTOLITE plugs in it. FROM WALMART!!!
it backfired like crazy so i threw 4 NGK V-Power plugs in and it hitts perfect now.
Mods so far-(page 2 for future plans)
MagnaFlow 40s with 2.5" pipe back from the cat
clino/altimeter
3rd gen pickup bumper
paint on minor things; Wheels, top, front of frame, windshield wipers
bedliner
JBL 200watt 4 channel amp under driver seat
2 3.5" Memphis front speakers to fit stock
REAL short on money, lotta bills to pay so it'll mostly be budget stuff for awhile. so if you can...
PLASE DONT RATE
wait til i build my bumpers at least
heres my mods so far. from most recent to the way i got it.
9/22 Got all the pin stripes and chrome pieces off. i'm gunna bed line the fenders and rocker panels like in the pic to the right. thats just photoshop. i love how the wheels turned out

9/19 Carpet is for pussies. spray in a bed liner like a man.
really happy with how this turned out. looks really clean.
Just sanded the back corner and threw (Before)
some primer on it. keep it from rusting
I HATE these stock wheels. they have no depth and they just look retarded. but i sprayed them flat black til i can get some mickey thompsons and powder coat them. love those tires tho.
Got a stock Clinometer/Altimeter from "V8Toy2" works perfect and looks like its been there sence '87
Ghetto Fab'd my bumper from my 91 pickup to fit. looks pretty good the stock one was super shitty. At least something from my old truck is still on the road hahaha
Put mt old JBL 200watt 4Channel amp in under my seat. blew my rear 6x9s after about 2 days. but got some memphis audio 3.5"s that fit nice and stock. not loud but so so so clear. now i just need some 6x9s or 6s in the rear and it will be perfect. i'm actually really surprised how clear they are they pick up every sound.
Rattle canned the top flat black looks awesome. the fiberglass just soaked the paint up.
When i got it.(Well i took of the lower valence and put the DC decals on)
