This is my dad's third '66 Electra 225.
These pics was taken in Spingfield Missouri before it went to Denmark
The Story
Well, I was searching the internet (back in 2004) to collect some pictures of any '66 Electra. After I saved some pics from eBay, asked my dad about some of the pics. He asked about the red one and I said "I found it on Ebay". Fortunately it ended with no winners. The Buick was retracted to the seller and my dad contacted the owner of the shop. Because we have been unable to drive the Black Buick since '98, my dad began to show interrest. So my parent went to the bank and after a couple of month, We got it. As it was in Springfield, Missouri , it had to go to the westcoast, for shipment. The only way, the Buick had to come to Denmark, was by containership. In February 2005, in Aarhus at 9 o'clock (or something) my dad was there, with other owners who was awaiting their cars. And the workers opened the selected container and here "she" appeared. (I was not there, i was in Odense with my class.Odense is the city where H.C. Andersen came from)
First time on Danish ground, she's a BEAUTY.
Because my dad will not use this car for daily use, he first rented a garage in Copenhagen, then Albertslund, then Vallensbæk and finally my aunt's garage. Our everyday vehicle is a '86 Ford Escort 1.6 (European, not American).
Engine specification:
7 liter or 425 cui Nailhead V8 4 barrel. 340 horses at 4400 RPM. 465 footpounds of torque at 2800 RPM.

Exterior: Color: Burgundy mist(Thank you PhilR) also got a black Vinylroof. Tires and wheels: 235/75/15 whitewall, 15 inch original rims with hubcaps from a '69 '70 or a '71 Electra (the caps was accessories to the Electra during '69 '70 and '71)
You gotta love these wide taillights.

Interior: Everything is (almost) red inside: The dash, the wheel, the seats, the carpet, the seatbelt and even the Hibeam indicator. (The black Buick got a blue indicator for the Hibeam)
